Exercises that everyone should be doing daily

The key to great health and longevity is exercise . With the correct knowledge and guidance on how to exercise and the intention for each exercise, you can keep you body robust and protected from common aches and pains. I’ve been practicing physical therapy for many years and have seen some common muscle groups that have been neglected which have resulted in poor health. I am going to share with you a few exercises that I think are the most important in everyday life and how to perform these exercises correctly. These are exercises that can be done at home with minimal equipment. If you are experiencing pain, please consider looking at my explanation of how pain is processed in the body (link) videos first before starting these exercises.

  • Abdominal Bracing

  • Upper Spine Mobility

  • Squats

  • Step ups/down

These exercises have helped many of my clients get better, however, some exercises need to be fine tuned for each individual person since every body is different. A Doctor of Physical Therapy can help guide you on how to safely exercise and how to improve your health by moving with proper body mechanics. Check out my others videos for more exercises on Youtube.
